First, ‘The Sixth Borough’ doc hits Tribeca with a mic drop for Long Island

🎤 Long Island's hip-hop scene is ready for its closeup with next week's premier of The Sixth Borough at Tribeca Film Festival. The driving force behind the project is GLI's very own Andrew Theodorakis, who's been working on the film for nearly a decade.

The documentary features more than 20 hip-hop greats from L.I., including Public Enemy frontman Chuck D. (Roosevelt), members of De La Soul (Amityville), the late Biz Markie (Patchogue) and Rakim (Wyandanch).
