A message from Station Yards

Everyone is invited to Station Yards on Saturday for a full day of St. Patrick’s Day fun at the brand-new, mixed-used community. The party runs from 2 to 6 p.m. at 6 Union Avenue in Ronkonkoma.


First, Long Island wildfires blamed on breakfast s’mores and cardboard

πŸ•οΈ Police say the wildfires that scorched hundreds of acres of Pine Barrens, and drew a response from over 90 fire and EMS agencies, were sparked by people making s’mores in their yard at 9:30 a.m.

Second, Suffolk officials celebrate the opening of Forge River treatment plant

πŸ—žοΈ This is the first sewage treatment plant built in Suffolk County in decades. It's expected to bring major economic development and environmental improvements to the Mastics and Shirley area.
