Good morning, Long Island.

Today, Sept. 11, marks a solemn anniversary for our nation, especially in our neck of the woods. Coming from an FDNY family myself, it's always a tough day, filled with terrible memories.

It also feels important to note, that many Americans are still reeling from the political violence that took place just yesterday in Utah.

While these headlines, understandably, will be dominating the news today, I hope to bring a bit of lightheartedness to you on this heavy morning.
